Brief Product Description
Cotton is a soft, fluffy staple fiber that grows in a boll,around the seeds of cotton plants of the genus Gossypium. The fiber is almost pure cellulose. Under natural conditions,the cotton bolls will tend to increase the dispersion of the seeds.  Diversity of wild cotton species are also found
inAfrica.Cotton is a natural plant fiber which grows around the seed of the cotton plant. Fibers are used in the textile industry,where they are the starting point of the production chain. First,the cotton fiber is obtained from the cotton plant and then spun into yarn. From there,the cotton yarnis woven or knitted into fabric.
The commercially grown species of cotton in Nigeria isthe Gossypium herbaceum.Quality Standard:
