PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is one of the earliest known oriental spices and is widely cultivated in Nigeria. Itis the washed, irregular-shaped rootstock (rhizome) of the reed-like ginger plant of the family Zingiber officinale, which is cultivated in the tropics and grows as tall as 1.5 m. The rootstock shape resembles a human hand (hands or claws). It is a root spice.
As a root spice it is used to improve the odor and flavor of foods. They contain essential oils and other ingredients which have a strong seasoning action.
They are dried to preserve them for transport and storage.

PACKAGING
Dried ginger is packed in transparent 40 kg propylene (MPP) plastics bags. Packages can also be in accordance with the requested by the buyer.
We can supply up to 10,000 bags of dried ginger in 40 kg transparent propylene bags at once or spread over a period of 6 months shipped in 40 feet containers.

STORAGE BEFORE EXPORT
After packing in transparent 40 kgpropylene (MPP) plastics bags. They are stacked on wooden pallets in our warehouseto avoid contact with the groundunder a room temperature of 25°C.
